1 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and [finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. 4 You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin.
Hebrews 12:1-4
Our vision for this year of 2026 is KEEP YOUR EYES IN JESUS. From Hebrews 12:1-4 I believe God is impressing this on us because in this world today there are so many things that vie for our attention, such as the state of the economy bringing financial uncertainty and fear, wars and threat of wars in different areas of the world, compelling philosophies that pander to the flesh and purport to be the answer to life. All of these are taking peoples eyes off Jesus and can influence believers to do the same. Jesus is the only true answer to life and life eternal and that is why I believe God has given us this vision, to keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith who enables us to run this race of life with endurance.
